Division 3
Amateur

The easiest way to enter Finnish icehockey is to start with a division 3 team. Most Division 3 teams are pay-to-play. You get about 20 games + two practices per week. Ranked 159 out of 256 leagues according to Hockey.Worldwide.

SemiPro

Entering Division 2 clubs requires a bit more. Teams are seeking imports that can make a difference, often by scoring points.  Some players play for free, while top imports may receive small compensation or benefits. Ranked 66 of 256 leagues (Hockey.Worldwide).

High SemiPro

A high-level league just below the professional tiers. Imports may receive housing and compensation depending on the team and performance. Your resume could consist of college D3 hockey. Ranked 37 of 256 leagues (Hockey.Worldwide).

Pricing - 600€
for finding a team in Finland

The total fee for Wannabe Hockey Agency’s service is 600€. The player pays 300€ upfront when cooperation starts, and the remaining 300€ only after a contract with a Finnish club has been signed.
